Ain't That JimDiddlyDandy?

What's all the flap about Google Reader shutting down July 1st?
Why can't they just leave things alone?
I get it, nothing remains the same,
BUT
I have, at this point, no clue as to what I need to do,
DO YOU?
Nor do I know where to switch to
Bloglovin?
Feedly?
Pulse?
What exactly am I having to switch for?
I think it's so that I can continue to read the blogs I'm following (is this correct?)
*
Is this going to change the look and way I blog here?
All the computer jargon might as well be written in same ancient text because I'm lost.
Apparently FEEDLY is making the transition easier, but if I transfer my readers list
(if that's what you're suppose to do), is that all I do?
*
I can't be the only one sitting in this boat out in the murky waters. Let's try to help each other
navigate through the sludge to save our "Whatever It Is We Need To Saves"!
*
What are you going to do?
Helpful suggestions and/or are definitely welcome.

  6. if you don't use reader to read blogs then you don't have to do anything at all. there will be no change to blogger. I moved to bloglovin took under 5 mins. People can still follow you via GFC.

  7. I have already atarted using Feedly. My son is a techy and we talked about it yesterday. His answer was "Feedly has bees preparing for this Google exit. Use Feedly - problem solved". I have deleted my google reader and am using Feedly on my desktop and my iPad.

  9. Well personally I wish I could just receive all my blog updates from all teh blogs I reveive via email...I hate haveing to check all these different types of feeds and getting my blog lovin updates and thena ll my email. I wish I could just go totally email on all of it...I twould be easy peazy that way for me. But a lot of blogs do not have an option on ther to follow via email....My 2 cents worth. I have no clue how to even think about going to get things moved over.

  10. I'm going to wait and see what the majority of other quilty blogs do, then follow suit. (Maybe, in the meantime, Google will change their minds.)

  11. I have no clue either. I didn't even know that I could follow all my blogs on google reader. I still go into Blogger. I am going to wait and see what others do.

  12. I just saw that last night and I have not got a clue about where to go or how to change over. At my age I fine it all a little intimidating. Sandra
