Thank you for another hopping good time
Madame Samm and Carol!
You're 2 gals that know how to have fun!
*
(forgive the glare)
*
Welcome, to what a great many of us would call a step back in time.
A time when we read the adventures of this plucky teen and her friends.
Nancy Drew.
*
*
This young lady has been the talk of the town these last few days
and has also been the inspiration behind a wide variety of hidden mysteries.
This is my offering for Madame Samm's hop,
a pleasingly, plump pillow with a hexie front
(my first completed hexie project),
all hand quilted
(another first for me, what do you think Susan?)
*
*
That magnifying glass is something my parents had when I was a kid,
leather bound handle, brass fittings and a built in light.
I finished this pillow off with a zipper back
(another first, in a pillow)
*
*
How cute is this top hat and monocle?
It's the original box the magnifier came in ;)
because there's a giveaway,
since you stuck around through my babbling!
*
*
Tell me your what your favourite kind of book would be
AND
you must be a follower.
One comment please.
I'll leave this open until Tuesday, March 19th.
My giveaway...
*
will be this drawstring pouch but in a different fabric.
A great little pouch for your jewels or your sewing supplies!
Someone had suggested that my pouch would be great for their hexie projects!
*
See what these other sleuths are up to today ;)
*
sew.darn.quilt me :)

Finally, another HUGE THANK YOU to Madame Samm
and our PHENOMENAL cheerleader,
CAROL!
