  16. 54 candles on my last cake. Just had a "discussion" with the hubby over the weekend, who was insisting we turned 55 last year. I sat down with pen & paper (not a calculator!!) and proved to him he (and I) are still only 54! Geez,,,making me old(er) before my time. (He is only 54 for another 25 hours though hehehehe!)   27. it was 60 ...i got a beautiful gold necklace from austria from my siblings and i had a wonderful birthday dinner at locanda montin in venice italy...luca ordered all the food made just for me...i love that place

  29. Those are just too cute to resist! On the last birthday that I blew out candles there were 15 of them, if I remember correctly! But then nobody knows how many to put on my cake, (if they did they wouldn't fit) and I'm not telling!

  40. On my last birthday I was on an airplane, and due to crossing time lines that day lasted 36 hours. It was NOT a happy day and I had no cake. But if I had a cake it would have needed 52 candles, and probably would have started my hair on fire when I tried to blow them out!

  54. My last cake had just one candle because no one remembered to make/get me one, so I went out and bought myself a single slice of triple chocolate cake, put a little candle on it, and enjoyed it alone! February 11, my next birthday, there will be 30 candles!
