We've got mice!!

The cooler weather has been driving the mice in already here and let's just say that
"evidence of said creatures" was found last week in our bathroom and kitchen.
So, we decided to rescue a young cat from the Prince Albert SPCA and came home with this clown!

Here she is hamming it up for the outstanding staff at the SPCA.

Too funny! And those whiskers and eyes are amazing.
Well hubster said "while we're here let's have a look at the dogs."
Our beautiful Bullet passed away in May and it's been hard for me with the house so empty since the boys have gone back to school.
This little girl had not been put on the SPCA website yet and never will.
Both Fiona the Fox (aka Foxy) and Carli came home with us Thursday.
I think Bullet would approve.

  1. Oh Carolyn! How wonderful! They are both beautiful!! Congrats Mama!

  2. Oh, congratulations! They are gorgeous! I used to (many years ago) have a cat and a schnauzer. The schnauzer was a much better varmint hunter than the cat! We lived on 3 acres and there was always something trying to get in. Life is so much better with pets! Bless you for rescuing! XOXOXO

  3. Now you have two wonderful furballs to keep you company. They are both beautiful.

  4. Lucky Carli and Foxy to make their home with you!! So sorry to hear about Bullet.

  5. Oh they both are so cute and I'm sure keeping you busy. I'm still trying to get hubby to agree to let us get a couple of meowers.

  6. Yay Carolyn - Way to Go! You and your hubby made a world of difference for Carli and Foxy! They are just gorgeous! I am sorry for your loss of your dear old Bullet. I hope your new furry family members help to fill up your heartache with new love.

  7. We are having the same problem. As a matter of fact, I came home my cat playing with a half alive mouse under my kitchen table this evening. I had to catch it, and luckily, my dog loves to eat them.
That new kitty of yours has adorably big eyes!

  8. I'm so jealous! I want a dog but until we quit doing mission work and traveling for weeks at a time I just can't do it. Not much longer though! blessings, marlene
